My Background

I graduated with an Upper Credit from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, where I spent my days learning the ins and outs of writing, editing, producing, basically everything media. Somewhere between the lectures, deadlines and endless scribbling, I fell head-over-heels in love with writing and storytelling. That love paid off too and I earned the title of the Best Editorial Student in my set, and that little win was the spark that pushed me to explore the world of writing even deeper.

Along the line, curiosity nudged me towards tech. In 2022, I took a bold step into Web Development at Innkeeper Academy. And here’s the honest, slightly embarrassing confession: I struggled. Coding knocked me around. It was confusing and overwhelming

I knew there were many people like me out there struggling to understand it. And even though I struggled, I thought, if something felt too complicated, then someone needed to explain it better, so I decided to become that someone. I went back to the basics, learnt again by teaching, and slowly strengthened my skills as I simplified every concept for others until it made sense, and that practice changed everything.

That frustration turned into clarity, and clarity became purpose. I suddenly saw the tech space for what it was: a world bursting with possibilities. I realized people didn’t hate tech, they only hated the confusion around it.

So I stepped into my mission: to bridge the gap between technology and humans through clear, relatable communication.

Experience: Building, Teaching & Creating Impact

My “teach-to-understand” journey started at DiamondHeart Technologies, where I spent a year volunteering, building websites, mentoring new developers, and turning complicated lessons into simple, friendly explanations. Because I had struggled myself, I understood the exact pain points. The result? More than half of my students completed their final projects with confidence; something they never thought possible.

That experience inspired me to create Tech Ace, my own training platform focused on clarity, empathy, and practical skills.

This combination of patience, technical grounding, and storytelling eventually became my secret advantage, one that led me to Pulse Nigeria. I’m now the sole Tech Writer and Editor on the team, crafting explainers, reviews, comparisons, opinion pieces, and news updates that turn complex tech into conversations people actually enjoy.

And people are clearly enjoying it: Some of my articles have contribute over 60% of our weekly KPI, and I’ve consistently hit over 80% of my individual KPI, attracting tech companies reaching out for collaborations.

Along the way, I’ve also had the privilege of speaking at a major tech event: GDG Cloud Kampala’s International Women’s Day celebration (Women Techmakers Kampala). I sat on a panel where we explored challenges and bold possibilities for women in tech, from the barriers we’ve broken, to the decisions that shaped our careers, to the future we believe women will lead.

Tech isn’t just what I cover, it’s who I am. And my goal is simple: to make technology feel welcoming, not overwhelming.

Beyond Writing

The moment I step away from my laptop, I switch from “tech writer mode” to “chilled babe who just wants to moisturize, glow, and eat good food.” Life is not that deep, and I genuinely wish everyone would relax a bit more and have fun. So half the time, I'm probably laughing out at the silly joke I told myself in my head.

I love God deeply, I read to sharpen my skills, and my relationship with food is… emotional. If I disappear for a bit, just know I’m somewhere thinking about my next meal or taking a much needed nap.
